Our Adventures
Family Journal 2025We are still living in Albuquerque ~ Jared is still serving as EQ President ~ Shelby is RS Secretary and playing the organ ~ We both have the same jobs ~ The boys are running around everywhere, they love to play outside, run around, build towers and knock them over. They usually love nursery, especially once the bubbles come out ~ We went to a Rascal Flatts concert in Texas while Grammie and Grandad stayed with the boys, to Lake Anna with some DC Friends, and to Hawaii with Grammie and Grandad ~ We said goodbye to our sweet Sophie this year. We miss her but are grateful for the many good years we got to spend with her ~ We are loving life.
Family Journal 2024Mason Nic and Carson Cole joined our family ~ we love them so much! Shelby is staying at home - hanging out with the boys, writing curriculum, and tutoring ~ Jared is Elders Quorum President and still working at NNSA. We are so happy!
Family Journal 2023Europe Trip: Dublin, Paris, Zurich, London ~ Cross-country move back to Albuquerque (with a Nauvoo stop) ~ Stole Sophie back ~ Enjoying our new house ~ Jared working in-office ~ Shelby writing curriculum and coaching Del Norte girls basketball ~ Expecting twins next year!
Family Journal 2022Traveling the East Coast ~ New Year’s Eve in New York ~ Florida Cruise (Mexico and Honduras) ~ Car Camping in Raleigh, NC ~ Mini Golf in Myrtle Beach, SC ~ Train to Boston, Massachusetts ~ Jared’s New Job with NNSA in Albuquerque ~ Bought new house in Albuquerque ~ Shelby continues to tutor and teach math at Yorktown
Family Journal 2021Shelby graduated from BYU ~ Moved to Arlington, Virginia ~ Jared started his fellowship at the NNSA with the Department of Energy ~ Shelby started teaching at Yorktown
Family Journal 2020Lived in Provo all year ~ COVID hit and we started staying at home all. the. time.
Family Journal 2019Jared graduated from UNM ~ We celebrated by going to the Bahamas and Disney World with Mom and Dad ~ We moved to Provo, Utah and both started at BYU
Family Journal 2018GOT MARRIED! ~ Honeymooned in Costa Rica ~ Jared was going to school and working at UNM ~ Shelby was working at KASS and as a nanny for the Jacobs.
